I started my career in speech-language pathology over 20 years ago after always having the desire to work in healthcare. In 1999, I attended an undergraduate college course where an audiologist named Dr. Thomas Mullin presented on the growing field of speech-language pathology. I knew this was the field for me and this has kept me interested in this dynamic field which I continue to enjoy so much.

I was born in New York and have a twin sister. I went to grade school through high school in Sarasota, Florida. I attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando where I received my bachelor's degree, then moved to Great Falls, Montana to work in the public schools. Next on the travel list was southern Illinois where I worked primarily with children with autism spectrum disorders in St. Louis, Missouri.  I decided I wanted to further my education by working on my master's degree in speech-language pathology. I attended classes through NSU and worked in the public schools and at a private clinic in eastern Tennessee. We have found Clinton, TN to be our home with our 2 golden retrievers! I have been working for Speech Pathology Associates since Spring 2021.
