Ginny Hurst

I have been practicing as a speech-language pathologist since 1999 after graduating from the University of Tennessee with my Master's of Art (M.A.) in Speech-Language Pathology. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Education (B.S. Ed) in Communication Disorders from Western Carolina University in 1996. I have maintained my Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC/SLP) with the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as my State of Tennessee Health Related Board Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology since 2000. The majority of my career has been dedicated to providing services to the pediatric population, serving children with a variety of diagnoses and communication needs as follows: developmental disabilities, Autism, genetic disorders, language disorders, speech sound disorders, feeding/swallow disorders, sensory processing disorders, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). I live in Knoxville with my husband, 3 children, and 2 dogs.
